Alex Segbefia must go! - Alhaji Bature
On the heels of  the dismissal of the Chairman of the confiscated Vehicles Committee,  a leading member of the rulling  NDC and Social commentator, Alhaji Bature has called for the immediate dismissal of the Deputy Chief of Staff, Alex Segbefia.

Mr. Segbefia's fingers according to Alhaji Bature are tainted in the car the alleged car fraud frenzy which has griped the government.

Speaking on Radio Gold's current affairs programme GOLD PAPER REVIEW on friday, Alhaji Bature said once Alex Segbefia defended Carl Wilson, who has subsequently been found to be corrupt, then Alex should also be dismissed because he likely benefited from the corrupt practices of Carl Wilson.

Mr. Carl Wilson was dismissed by President Mills on Thursday, March 25, after some irate NDC foot soldiers besieged the Party’s National head office in Accra and locked out the executives demanding the dismissal of Mr. Carl Wilson.

The disgruntled youth accused Mr. Wilson of being involved in several corruption allegations including allocating and selling stolen cars which were confiscated at the Tema port to his cronies.

In the midst of heated agitations and calls for the dismissal of Carl Wilson, Mr. Alex Segbefia, the Deputy Chief of Staff mapped out a strong defence for Carl Wilson, stressing that the chairman of the Confiscated Vehicles Committee was innocent of all the allegations leveled against him.

According to Alex Segbefia, detractors of Mr Carl Wilson were just trying to pull him down with unfounded allegations because of the marvelous work that he was doing at the castle.

It is on the basis of this that Alhaji Bature is calling for the dismissal of Alex Segbefia.
